Nathan is a Co-Founder of the Village Micro Fund and currently serves as a Westside Innovation Fellow at the Center for Civic Innovation. One of his life missions is to help create sustainable micro economies in low to moderate income neighborhoods via community based crowdfunding of businesses and projects. Before the Village Micro Fund, Nathan was a valuation analyst at a distressed debt private equity fund. Nathan started his career at Goldman Sachs and is a 2014 graduate of Morehouse College.

The Village Micro Fund is a hybrid social enterprise with the mission to help reshape and develop low-income neighborhoods across America via technical assistance, micro lending and village of support. The non-profit side, Village Micro Fund, Inc is a 501c3 that focuses primarily on hosting small business workshops and one on one business planning sessions with entrepreneurs trying to start a business and existing small businesses. The For-Profit side Village&Co. hosts a debt based crowd funding platform that allows customers, citizens and neighbors alike to invest in their favorite business, no matter what the amount.
